Contrary to popular belief, an ad with a "pending review" status WILL run on Google search results pages. However, it won't appear on Google’s search partners or Content Network placements until it has been approved.
Google's approach is less strict than that implemented by Bing or Yahoo:
- Microsoft adCenter: your ads will not appear until they have been reviewed and approved.
- Yahoo Search Marketing: your ads will not appear until they have been reviewed for compliance with YSM editorial guidelines. They will be tagged as "Editorial Pending" until they have been reviewed.
